✳KITCHEN EQUIPMENTSPOT RESEARCH PILOT

OUR SOURCES & STANDARDS

A useful reference starts with honest limits.

Kitchen Equipment Spot is an independent research pilot for commercial refrigeration owners and buyers.

Where the specifications come from

This pilot uses a user-supplied ENERGY STAR CSV with 1,994 records, including 258 True Refrigeration entries. Twenty models were selected to test several equipment families and suffix variants. Nineteen appear in the equipment library.

Values retain the supplied certification data. They are not measurements of your cabinet or a current product availability claim. We have not independently checked every specification against an official current model sheet. Browse ENERGY STAR's product finder ↗

Why some records are held back

The row labeled STA1R-1S-HC contains pass-through specifications and a certification identifier naming a different model. It is excluded from the library until its identity is resolved. Its original values remain in the downloadable evidence files. The expanded source scan also holds other model/identifier mismatches for review; a mismatch is a review condition, not a finding that the equipment does not exist.

Manuals and parts have different evidence levels

Official family manual links were found for all sampled models. Several large PDFs could not be fully inspected. Each model page explains what was observed. Always check the document's model list and revision.

A merchant's model catalog provides a parts lead. It does not prove fit for every production date or serial number. Punctuation variants are explicitly identified; full model suffixes are preserved. We have not completed cabinet-specific serial lookups for any model.

Parts Town model pages opened for 17 of the original 20 models; another was visible through indexed evidence only. Two model catalogs remain unverified. This small, deliberately varied sample does not establish coverage of the entire True catalog.

Part-number references and buying guides

The parts library currently covers 69 qualified part references, built from 93 candidate numbers. Each page links to manufacturer and merchant references, preserves production caveats, and distinguishes catalog associations from serial-specific fit. Related parts are not substitutes. The fit-check request form runs in your browser, prepares text for you to copy, and sends or stores no cabinet details.

Purchase links and affiliate disclosure

No affiliate commission or paid placement is currently enabled. Outbound links are ordinary reference or merchant links. A public affiliate program does not establish our enrollment, a product's eligibility, or a working tracked link. Prices and stock require confirmation with the seller.

Energy cost estimates

Annual cost = reported kWh/day × 365 × your electricity rate in USD/kWh. The initial $0.15 rate is an editable illustration, not a local tariff. Actual consumption varies with use and conditions. Compare similar cabinet types and capacities.

How the import works

The manufacturer’s public category feeds supply exact product identities and short technical descriptions. Model-to-part relationships remain separately dated observations from the earlier catalog research. Direct automated Parts Town product requests were blocked, so individual merchant product links are shown only where separately verified. Identity evidence expires after 30 days and model catalog evidence after 90 days unless refreshed.

Qualified references have an exact manufacturer identity, a useful description, a recognized category, and an opened merchant model-catalog source. This reference-page threshold does not establish serial fit, live inventory, or permission for a commercial bulk feed. The import holds conflicting, incomplete, or stale records out of the parts library. View current import and review coverage →

Research and downloads

A small free-tool check found estimated US demand for parts queries. It does not establish traffic or revenue. Affiliate tracking and authorized data reuse remain launch decisions.
